My Dad has been working super hard on Christopher's Space room! It's so perfect! It's only about 98% done (minus decorations and furniture) so I can't show you the whole thing yet...but here are some sneaks!
I did some paintings for his room on 11x14 canvas. I love them!
The alien will go above his light switch plate next to the door. I did this one to remind him that no matter how the world sees him (even if it's as a 5 eyed alien), I think he's cute.
The following 3 will be hung together over the biggest wall.
He is my sunshine! I know he will brighten my day and my mood so I thought I would remind him of this!
He already is my everything! I love you Christopher!
Love this phrase...not so much how it turned out, but hopefully he'll get the idea!
His closet was my next project. My dad painted it in the light blue color and I organized his wee little baby clothes!
This ranges from Newborn-2T
And we added these super cute closet door knobs! They were kinda pricey, $8...but so worth it!
Last, but not least...his BEDDING!!!
I have loved this bedding since before I was pregnant. It's so cute and sweet but still super fun! And definitely BOY!
ROCKET SHIPS!!!!
The striped fabric is the crib skirt.
It's going to come together so nicely! My dad and I have to finish the shoe moulding which is the piece that goes between the floors and the baseboards. And then we just order furniture and wah-la!
So excited!
I had an appointment with the midwife today. I'm up to 163 pounds! BP was 120/77 which is great! And my blood work came back perfect! No Gestational Diabetes! woot-woot!
She even said my diet must be incredible because everything was perfect. Haha! I eat gummies and tatortot casserole but okay!
The only red flag was this: My blood type is O positive. When they took my blood they noticed antibodies. This could means that Christopher's blood and mine are not compatible and that my body could think he's an infection and fight him as such. So, the lab investigated further and this is not the case! yay! Why the antibodies...I don't know. I should have asked.
So, really, there are no red flags and his heartbeat and measurements are right on track. He's doing perfect! He should go to the head down position in the next few weeks. And...they gave me my list of things to get for the home birth! Everything from sheets and baby clothes to olive oil and pads! I am so excited and nervous! Full term is at 36 weeks and I'm at 29w3d! He's on his way! :)
I love you CBH!
